Although well written, with an imaginative premise, (who would not wish to spend one more day with a loved one who has passed on?) this book did not work for me. I hate to write this because I thoroughly enjoyed Mitch Albom's previous…

This was a very easy read and I read it in one day. It brought tears to my eyes because it reminded me of the loss of my mom and how I would love to have one more day to talk.

As always with Mitch Albom's book, I loved this one, breezing through it quickly. The story line aroused memories of my own special people gone too soon and what I would give to also have one more day. A great read.

Read this book in just a few days. I think this is definitely a feel good book and although it doesn't start out that way it is so satisfying to see Chick get the one more day he needs at a very difficult time in his life. I think it is…

I love Albom’s way of writing. The story is interesting and easy to read. Dying is part of our lives, as a reader, I connected with the story because everyone of us at some point lost a loved one and wished for one more day with them.

Really really a good read. I've never been this reluctant to return a book when I'm done. I can't take the book away from my mind as the contents keep flashing back.

When I was in the library last week picking up a couple books I saw this one. I had read some of Mitch's other books and thought I'd grab this one. His stories are always quick reads that make you think. I love how he ties in elements of…

Albom is my favorite author of all time. His writing style is easy to read and thoroughly enjoyable. This book in particular went back and fourth between flashbacks without getting confusing. It was a quick read but had a captivating story.

Those who've read "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" will find this book to be a somewhat different look at death, which seems to be one of Albom's favorite themes -- not in a morbid or fatalistic way, but rather viewing life as a…

A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "This is a very touching story of one man's life failures, taking him to the point of ending it all. He fails at that as well, and subsequently encounters what seems to be the ghost of his…

This book was what I'd expected. I enjoy Albom's writing. It's a light read that makes you think. It wasn't as much of a tear jerker as other books of his have been. I held off until the end. It a reminder that we never know the whole…
