Good book. Pulls at your heartstrings but definitely is worth the read.

Predictable, unrealistic (in some ways) and a touch of cringe. Also, what 5-6 year old child acts the way as the one in this book!? 🤯

Was hoping that this book would be as good as The Nightingale and The Four Winds. It wasn't. This book kept my attention but it was VERY predictable.

Hannah usually captivates but this time I worked to finish - no radical surprises or mystery, just a straight forward story about an unfortunate young woman involved in an unfortunate accident with other characters struggling to find…

Although I felt the book started out a bit cliche (overprotective/over-involved rich mom, twins - one popular, one not, new girl moves to town and shakes things up), it got better as the story went on. The grieving process portrayed was…

I read Nightingale by this author. Liked it a lot, was hoping she’d be an author I could follow. Hated this sooo predictable story. I feel insulted. Onward to find another author

Loved it, sad at times but loved it.

Found the beginning slow. Felt like I was reading a junior fiction. But once it picked up pace I got pulled right in and really enjoyed it.

Well written. As the reader you see how a tragic event effects all the characters and you know there will be no healing until their is forgiveness, you're hanging on with the characters until that occurs.

I found reading the Large Print Version of "Night Road" to be enjoyable, and it is a good story for taking one's mind off of everyday problems and concerns. The characters are well-developed, and the writing is very descriptive. As the…

Have read a number of Kristin's books and enjoyed all; the last one THE GREAT ALONE was very good as were the others. All different so it doesn't seem to follow a predictable pattern plot, etc. Have read all at the Hubbard Lake branch…

I'm listening to this one on Playaway, so I can't tell how close I am to the end, but it feels like it's been going on forever, and I can't wait for it to be over. Based on reviews I just read, I think it's going to have a pat,…

Troubled teen Lexi, who is emotionally mature despite being parentless and abandoned befriends a set of extrovert/introvert twins who seem on the surface to live a charmed life. The twins are controlled by 'helicopter Mom' Jude who…

While reading this book and finishing it, I feel as though I've been through an emotional rollercoaster. My whole body ached and tears filled. I love this book so much. This book was so character-driven and I feel that just about anybody…

Not for young readers. Descriptive love making. Well written but not entertaining.

I found the writing simplistic and the plot line was shallow. This is a morality tale aimed at a young adult reader, albeit from the point of view of the helicopter mother. A real eye-roller.

This is a very powerful book. It makes you love, it makes you laugh and it makes you cry. It's about family, and love and loss a grieving and finding yourself and love again.

I was not a big fan of this book...it was repetitious...not to give anything away the ending was a tear jerker...will try reading her earlier books

This is a book of mistakes, one right after the other! No matter how tight the apron strings are tied, you cannot live your children's lives for them and it is wrong to try. There were times i couldn't stand Jude. Had she taught her twins…

This is a very intense book. If you have kids in Middle School or High School, you should read this and then have them read it. I know it is fiction, but it is based on real events. I would rate it PG-13
