I like this book. I love the way Mr. Ridley portrayed the young Ben's innocence and how the complicated relationship between the psychologist and the detective unfolded. The horror of the crime in this novel is unthinkable, but very possible with military incompetence and the less than honorable way they treat our veterans.

Quite violent but intriguing and personalized as well. I like Lou Boldt and his Seattle Police Department colleagues and enjoy seeing how Pearson develops their characters through nonstop action plots.
