This was my first read by Elin Hilderbrand. It is more of a summer read. I really enjoy the way Elin writes, with regards to the character, Kalyla's thoughts and dealings with her children and later with her friends. It seems like you can picture "Kayla" standing in front of you watching the story unfold. secret that becomes Antoinette's story, I did not enjoy. Without giving anything away, I felt it could have been told completely different as well as the ending too. The ending does leave you wondering and would be a great place to introduce a second book with the continuation. Overall, it has tapped my interest in her writing and will give a few more of her books a try.
