This fantasy series reads like a historical series, written beautifully in a way that draws you in and holds you captive until the very last word on the very last page.

This is the best interpretation of Merlin and the Arthurian Legend I've seen so far. Don't miss it!

One of the best books ever written! Beautiful and captivating all the way through. For those who love the Lord of the Rings, this is a book to read next. Normally, I don't like first-person narratives, but this proved to be a stunning exception.

The first part of this trilogy follows Merlin as he goes on quests that both shape him as a magician, and also lead him into the arms of his father. The book is beautifully woven, and keeps readers wanting more. And thankfully, the entire trilogy has been published, so there is no wait time in between novels!

As a non reader in my teen's this was one of the first books that sparked my love of reading! A great book to start your un-intrested reader. Especialy those young teens that enjoy the role play game avalible today!
