This book is divided into three sections: Section 1 deals with John's overview of the process of prayer, his thoughts about writing on this subject matter, and the history of the rosary as authorized by the Catholic Church. In Section 2 John shows how he has utilized the power of prayer through the use of the rosary Section 3 is an audio CD that goes over the process of using the techniques of practical praying. This book explores the power of the rosary as a tool to bring focused energy and creative thought into your everyday life. John Edward shares his belief that the power of prayer alone can help to illuminate a path for each individual to follow....using God's gift of free will to chart our own course. Although he is quick to suggest this is not the fix to 'find happiness' in a material sense, the promise of living a more abundant life in general can be achieved.

Mr. Edward's "practical" version of the Rosary in offensive.

He replaces the meditations on Our Lord's sacred mysteries of His life, death and resurrection with meditating on the mundane desires of praying person.

The Rosary prayers are sacred. But praying the Rosary prayers is only 1/2 of the whole. Just praying the prayers without meditating on the mysteries is like a body without a soul.

Please do not make the disrespectful mistake of such misuse of the Rosary.

His "practical" version changes the order of each decade of prayers. Why monkey with an ancient religious sacramental??

Finally, with all due respect to Mr. Edward, there are many details he has included that belie his very real ignorance of the history and process of praying the Rosary.

This book is pure trash.
