The true-life story about Thomas Edward Lawrence (aka. Lawrence of Arabia) is really quite a complex and intriguing one if you actually take the time to find out who he was and what were behind some of his motives.

Of course, the highlight of Lawrence's life was during WW1 when he was sent to Arabia on an intelligence mission and, with that, he became directly involved in the Arab Revolt where his actions were instrumental in bringing about the fall of Damascus (aka. The Syrian Arab Republic).

This excellent visual biography (written by Malcolm Brown) certainly gives the reader a clear and concise perspective of the life, the times, and the legend of Thomas Lawrence who (in 1935) was killed (at the age of 46) as the result of a motorcycle accident in Dorset, England.
