Excellent piece of literature.
Read it fist time when I was ~20 (found it very thought provoking and inspiring), then ~ 10 years later and wouldn't mind reading it again in 5-10 years. Before reading it for the first time, I read a separate chapter published independently as a story 'Jupiter' in some collection and was very influenced by it.
If you like applying your imagination to beautiful ideas, then this novel could become one of your favorite.
