"Don't even begin a Ludlum novel if you have to go to work the next day." - Chicago Sun-Times.
Lt. Col. Jon Smith, an army researcher specializing in infectious diseases and secretly a Covert-One agent, leads a team of scientists to remote Wednesday Island, an icy patch of land off the north coast of Canada. There they stumble upon the remains of a mysterious spy plane containing deadly weaponized anthrax. Unfortunately, Smith and his colleagues aren't alone in their discovery. An international arms dealer and his crew of vicious mercenaries plan to make a small fortune with their find. But what no one knows is that even deadlier secrets rest within the hulk of the lost bomber - a secret the Russians are willing to do anything to protect. Trapped in a polar wilderness, Smith and his team find themselves fighting a savage war on two fronts - against one enemy they can see, and another hiding within their own ranks.
