The world we knew is gone. The world of commerce andfrivolous necessity has been replaced by a world of survival and responsibility. An epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has swept the globe, causing the dead torise and feed on the living. In a matter of months society has crumbled: nogovernment, no grocery stores, no mail delivery, no cable TV. In a world ruledby the dead, the survivors are forced to finally start living. As the survivors settle into their prison home something has drawn them outinto the open... out of the prison... out of their sanctuary. This is a majorturning point for the overall story of The Walking Dead , setting thestage for years to come. Reprint Edition

Introducing one of the most vicious villains in the Walking Dead universe. Great read.

The Governor made me so uncomfortable throughout the entire comic... It got a little too uncomfortable for me with Michonne, almost stopped reading. But I persevered and was thankful I did.
Is it wrong to think he'll get his just desserts?

WOW- didn't see that coming in this episode. Everyone talks about the Governors character- now I know why.

After Volume 4 I wasn't sure where the storyline was going (and not too impressed with that one). Now it's exciting again, Can't wait to see where it goes next. Gruesome.
