Add a CommentLoved this as much as Season 1. I love all the characters in this story but it's nice they add new characters, too. Looking forward to season 3.
I still found this season enjoyable although I was starting to get very annoyed with the attitude of the character of Dorcas lane, always closing the door thinking she is right and her inability to let things go. Even though they have goodwill, those type of people in real life can only be annoying after a while.
I enjoyed the first season, but with this I'm noticing the overacting and find it annoying that problems that arise are so easily resolved--not exactly true to life. I like the new character, Minnie, but I won't likely be taking out season three.
The second season of _Lark Rise to Candleford_ is just as good as the first season. In many ways, it's actually better than the first season. The characters are more developed, the plot lines are great, and there are more complicated romances. While some first season characters are missing, there are plenty of new & interesting characters in the second season. Great show. Highly recommended!
I dare you not to cry whilst watching the haunting Christmas special! I love this series.
