Heather M.: "Lyrical language and amazing descriptions of animals, setting and people enhance this story of a woman who is believed to be a witch telling what really happened the night of the Glencoe Massacre in the Highlands of Scotland."

Great story. Instead of being recognized as a healer -- called a witch. Fear takes over due to superstition!

An enjoyable book. Corrag was a loving insightful person. Set in a wonderful setting of the highlands in 1692. Looking forward to reading more of Susan Fletcher.

Corrag"s love and respect for the natural world is a virtue we should all strive for. The truth behind the tale makes the story bittersweet.
