Vanessa 'Michael' Munroe trades in information, the kind of information major corporations will pay handsomely to obtain. Now, Munroe is approached by a Texas billionaire to locate his missing daughter, who disappeared years earlier in Africa. Although Munroe normally doesn't take missing persons cases, she can't help but be intrigued. As she hunts down the woman in the African countryside, Munroe is forced to face a demon from her past.

If you like Patterson, you might, might, might like this book. I, for one, am very glad that I had the opportunity to sample the audio book from the library and didn't purchase a copy for myself. The narrator sounds like Siri and the supposed protagonist is equally flat. Multi-lingual to the point of being unbelievable, uber brilliant, devastatingly attractive to all males on the planet, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. Please. Life is too short for such tripe.

This book was very well done. I loved the character and the story. The reader was perfect for this story.

I loved this book as well. Be warned that it has some violent bits. However, the story carried me along; I was always eager to continue finding out what happened. It was also very well read. I wish she had more books I could listen to!
