At first glance, the crimes appear random. Arson. Theft. Fraud. Murder. But these are more than random crimes. They're moves in an increasingly deadly game. And the one element they have in common: a woman who is gorgeous, clever. . .and lethal.

This was a good book, but kind of predictable. I love the Triple Threat novels, they are so engaging and Lis Wiehl is an exceptional author. Though not as exciting compared to some of her other books, "Heart of Ice" still drew you in from the start.

This was kind of good, ok, but not great. The villain was "over the top" but possibly based on a real life character the author knew from her days as a fed prosecutor in Seattle or Portland. The best part was learning the characteristics of psychopaths and how easily they slide in and out of ordinary life situations.

Don't really like romantic mysteries.
