I know I know, commenting on a Scottish fiddler's recording on St Patrick's is probably a faux pas. But the first tunes are Highlander's Farewell To Ireland/Farewell To Ireland/O'er The Water to Charlie/Highlander's Farewell and Jig Runrig/The Ramnee Ceilidh. Also an Irish adaptation of a Scottish tune called Nathaniel Gow’s Lament for the Death of his Brother Nathaniel Gow is on this disk. You'll hear guest musicians too, Irish fiddler Martin Hayes and American guitarist Dennis Cahill who specializes in Irish traditional music. For more information the tunes and performers on this album head here.

You don't need to wait to hear any of Alasdair and Natalie's recordings, look them up in Freegal and begin streaming Scottish and Irish folk music today.

Very enjoyable set of Celtic fiddle/cello tunes. I've been to Ireland/Scotland a couple times and love to go to clubs to listen/meet people.

I've particularly enjoy Scots rock band Runrig and wish KCLS had some of their material. Former lead singer Donnie Munro had amazing stage presence (and great voice).
