I'm an adult reader and recommend this series to all ages, 14 and above. It's action-packed yet thought-provoking about what our future might be like. Main characters are complex and likable although there are exceptions such as the evil "rat man" who is a little too cartoonish for my tastes. And isn't it convenient that one of the female rivals for his affections dies at the very end?

This is the final book in the trilogy of "The Maze Runner." It brings you back to where it all started and how it will all end. I liked this book because it was more in the mental realm, psychological aspect of the "Flare." I enjoyed reading this series, it was very entertaining, a lot of action and I'm sure I want to read more by this author.

I liked this book better than the previous one in the series, The Scorch Trials, since it let up on the gore and action. It was a new setting for the story, as well as a different type of problem to work through, much more psychological than physical. I thought it had a few good suspenseful moments, and an interesting ending. Realistic, again, in how it dealt with each side's perspective on what was going on and how to fix it.

This is the second time I have read this book. This time I listened and I did not enjoy it as much. It seemed all the characters did was argue about what they were going to do.

IN my opinon this book is the worst out of the series. though you must read it. this book is very good because unlike hunger games when you know katniss will survive you have way more suspense and that's a good thing
