I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone. It was extremely boring, not to mention confusing, and I found myself skipping lots of parts.

It was alright. It kinda made me sad though. I liked the characters, though some seem underdeveloped. Overall it was okay

Great female characters and a pretty good adventure story. I didn't care for the asides either, but I get what the author was trying to do. The characters won the day for me.

I didn't finish this. I found the explanatory interludes terribly distracting, but I don't think the book would have made sense without them. I started off curious about the characters but the heroine seemed to hold all of them in contempt so I lost interest rather quickly. And the world that the author extrapolated to was just too depressing: "We are all Paris Hilton now."
