In season 4 of this deeply racist vampire TV series, the white supremacist executive producer Alan Ball doubles down on this FACT about himself by pimping the real life civil rights movement, using extremely DEMONIC witchcraft as his excuse for this season. Not surprisingly, this is still sleep inducing also by the way, despite the consistently alluring special visual effects.I heard that the shape shifting in this series actually happens in real life literally with your selected, not elected politicians and the rest of some of the employees and members of the ILLUMINATI period, but you don't hear me though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

should have been more like book #4 where Eric lost his memory but did not act childish! I fast forwarded thru anything about fairyland, witchcraft, panthers, etc. I really hate Alan Ball's interpretation of the book.

Not real pleased with the script this season or the 3rd season for that matter. I'm still watching the show but it better shape up quick or I won't be for long. The show is coming across as too cartoonish to me for some reason, now. They need a little bit more Underworld and a little bit less Saturday Night Live. There's no real menace to the show now, so it comes off as flat and silly.

Still entertaining. It is not as good as it once was. The constant love triangles and soap opera melodrama is annoying, but the supernatural action and graphic violence is still fun. Plenty of the usual graphic nudity. Almost impossible to take seriously at this point, but I am still a fan.

SPOILER ALERT! I've watched this show from the beginning and I gotta say, it's so infuriating! I watch for the fantasy, magical and horror aspects of it. As long as the wiccan vs. vampire storyline is played out, then it sort of succeeds. The problem is, the creators try to inject real world issues into this mix and what is the result? The show doesn't know what it wants to be, horror, comedy, fantasy, soap opera, all of the above? It's a mess. This season is a big, 'As if!' Souki has no reason to save Erik and yet they fall in love? Their scenes together have ZERO chemistry and it just doesn't make sense. Tara becomes a big female wrestler in New Orleans yet no sooner does she arrive to visit after a year, she's embroiled in a vampire mess. And though she should bolt immediately, she stays! Stupid!

The books by Charlaine Harris are way better than the show. The only good thing about the show is Eriik Skarsgard!

Besides the dumb looking demon thats in Jesus...I loved it.
