This author is very talented. There are no words to this story – it’s a wordless picture book and it’s done just like his graphic novels (you should totally check them out!) It’s an overload of cute! Owly and Wormy want to see the stars, but a few obstacles and fears stand in their way, but it’s a happy ending of a starry night and new friends! (submitted by SV)
This wordless picture book is great for a discussion one-on-one or with a group of youngsters. As you talk about what's going on in the story, the children's background knowledge kicks in. You can ask them questions like, "have you ever camped outside in the stars? What was it like in the woods? Have you ever used a telescope to look at the stars? What do you have to bring to go camping?" This book is perfect for parents to lead a conversation to their young adventurers!
