"When Veronica Reed wakes in her Manhattan apartment one frigid morning in January, two things seem amiss. First, the apartment is luxuriously quiet--her husband, John, and the baby, Clara, are out. Second, most incredibly, she is rested, having slept through the night for the first time in months. As Veronica goes about her first free morning in what feels like a lifetime, little does she know that what John intended as simply a restorative morning break for her--and quality time with the baby for himself--has spiraled into something else entirely"--P. So this was another "Blind Date" book, and at first it seemed our "date" was going well. I was interested in the main characters, John & Veronica and what would make him take their 6 month old daughter away. It's very scary and personal to me as I have a 7 month old son. Then our date got worse, I began to hate the two main characters who are selfish, irresponsible, and honestly probably shouldn't have a child! By the time our "date" ended, I was very relieved! :/
