This is a great book for those of us who are turned off by technical jargon and are more visually oriented. I especially like the series of photos, of the same subject, taken at different apertures, speeds etc. The examples save time and experimentation.

Good book for beginners to the more experienced. i like the way the chapters are organized you can skip through quickly and still learn something new.

This is a good refresher course for experienced photographers, and a good reference for them. Beginners will find it far too concisely written, with too many details and advanced techniques to be intelligible.

An abundance of information for getting various "looks" for your photos, but I like the kind I take, better. They show me what I really saw, and I am reminded of the thrill each time I look at them. I must admit, though, that digital cameras are great for deleting the three-quarters or more of my photos that don't meet my standards. (Wildlife move quickly.)
