The series is a little too vanilla for my taste. Not much action and the main characters are rather bland.

I loved watching a murder mystery without the blood guts and gore that seems normal. The four main characters are a tight knit group that - together- get things done. I enjoyed the loving, fun, happy atmosphere that is missing from most movies in the present day and age.

Mr. & Mrs. MURDER is so bland so silly. A married couple do crime scene cleanup and investigate the crime too? Watching this woman screaming in the presence of dogs as small as Pomeranians is stupid! I watched two episodes and thought this is the kind of entertainment cop show that could be shown in nursing homes. If you can watch more than two episodes then you are more of a masochist than I am.

The humor is so unassuming and quiet at times, you almost miss it. Then there are the moments that are laugh out loud funny. The couple is adorable and the theme is creative and witty.

Witty, intelligent, and refreshingly sweet comedy. Truly enjoyed the kind interactions and loving dialogue between the Buchanans. Very entertaining and full of surprises. As far as I know Australia has not produced Season 2 so enjoy these 13 episodes.

Best comment from Amazon editorial review:
Fun-loving and flirtatious couple Nicola (Kat Stewart, Offspring) and Charlie Buchanan (Shaun Micallef, Full Frontal) run a cleaning service for crime scenes. They love their business—and each other—and find that closing cases comes just as naturally as cleaning them up.

Their work leads them to clues the police overlook, and their anonymity provides cover to follow-up on their hunches. Nicola’s intuition and Charlie’s head for arcane facts make them the perfect crime-solving team. With help from their straitlaced niece, Jess (Lucy Honigman), and the indulgence of overworked police detective Peter Vinetti (Jonny Pasvolsky, McLeod’s Daughters), they crack cases involving people from all walks of life, from zookeepers to plastic surgeons. Intricate mysteries and witty, romantic banter make these 13 episodes irresistibly entertaining.

Charming and slightly quirky, this series is a pleasant and fun diversion from the more serious (and sometimes rather gruesome) detective tales out there. The writing is clever but the stories can get a bit predictable. Still, the actors clearly are enjoying themselves and so will you. I recommend this series.

Rated 4/10.

Such uninspired acting attempting to slide by on some high cheek bones, overly cutesy but not as funny as it aspires to be. Id give this one a pass.

Quirky, tongue-in-cheek detective series from Australia where the leads are not even officially detectives. Charlie and Nicola Buchanan are "cleaners"-- those that clean up the murder scene-- but also amateur detectives with lots of obscure knowledge which help them solve the murder. Witty banter with the lead detective (who has his eyes on Nicola), and the added help of their college-aged niece, Jess, add more interesting personality to this charming series. It's clear the lead couple love each other almost as much as they love solving these murder mysteries, and the viewer can sit back and just enjoy the clever writing along the way. Hope there's a series 2...

-Your husband's right there. You'd better go before we both do something we regret.
-You won't tell us what you're looking for, sweetie.
- Well, I don't want to disappoint myself. Happiness is relative to expectation.
- They had nose jobs back then?
- Yeah, yeah. Blown off in the war, or they'd have them cut off as punishment. And they would walk around with no nose. Completely noseless.
- So how did they smell?
-600 BC. It's a very old joke.
- It's a good one, though.
-So, Peter married money. All this time, I had him pegged as an idiot.
-Well, it's very judgemental of you to think he can't be capable of both.
