A story which combines love, art, a vivid setting in Provence and a World War II time period makes for compelling listening. Hearing it in audio format with the lovely French pronunciation adds tremendously to the experience!

A young woman is awakening to the power of art, to the beauty of provincial life, and to love in the midst of war.
The book is narrated by Kim Bubbs, a young Canadian actress, who brings so much sunshine into the narration. The story is mostly in English, but French inserts color the narration with much of the French charm.

"It's so good to be young and in Paris! ", - says one of the characters. Paris is described with so much love that it makes you long for this city of art and light!
