A decent look at the history of the Big Four sports in Boston from the viewpoint of a long time sportswriter and broadcaster. Also looks at the Olympics (and the unprecedented conceit of the Dream Team) and the mess the NCAA has become. There is also a discussion of one of the most infamous incidents in the history of the NFL - the "Tuck Rule" play. Overall the book is a lament to the time when people truly played for the love of the game, compared to today.
