[Update 2/16: Yellen of the Federal Reserve suggested negative interest rates may be in the offing - - where the customer pays the bank to keep their money on deposit - - more bleeding the turnip. Presently, several countries in Europe have adopted this, and the Euro central banks are suggesting they will soon, also.]
[Please do see p. 119 - - this is fundamentally the same legal verbiage to be found in the Trans-Pacific Partnership - - which is why it is so utterly evil, and why anyone supporting it is so utterly evil!]
[p. 79: // . . several years ago an Amazon customer found that after removing the cookies on his computer he got substantially lower prices on his next DVD purchases.\\ ]
This is a very clever book, written by two very clever authors. I both sort of knew and sensed this was taking place, but not to the great extent the authors explain to us - - the customizing, as it were, of pricing, and macro pricing schemes aimed at the individual // consumer \\ or data entity! Quite eye-opening - - although it may require several cups of coffee or energy drinks to get through, as at times it is a detailed analysis of the first order. Learned a number of facts I was ignorant of. This book, together with Retirement Heist by Ellen Schultz, truly demonstrrate how they are bleeding us hyper-dry on the financial end of life. [While deftly written on a subtle subject, it is fundamentally about customized price gouging under the guise of personalized pricing, something only realized with the advent of Big Data and data mining - - truly drawing blood from the turnip!]
