A must-read if you're a Beatles fan. Even if you feel like you know everything there is to know about the group, this book will surprise you. This is obviously the work of a writer with true reverence for and deep knowledge of the band. Easter-egg references to classic songs add to the fun. Thanks in no small part to the evocative art, this book brings to life the energy of the era.

I loved this book- it really got to me. Brian helps create the most popular rock band in history, witnessing Beatlemania and all the fun. Meanwhile he's a lonely gay man in a time when he could still be sent to prison for being a homosexual. I grew up with the Beatles, I was in Grade four when I watched them on Ed Sullivan. I loved them so much. George was my favourite. As a gay man this book and the fabulous illustrations really resonated for me.
