I want to be able to give this book the rating the story line and the writing deserve (more of a 4 star rating), but the entire book is ruined by the love story. The main character faking a relationship with someone they don't actually love, the bisexual trope of a bisexual never being able to be monogamous, the bisexual trope that a bisexual has to be with a man and a woman, the bisexual trope that a bisexual person is overly sexual...I am so disheartened. I was so excited seeing what I thought was a YA f/f romance, but instead is was a slap in the face (more like a chop to the throat). If I had read this as a teenager, I would have had more issues coming to terms with my own sexuality.

I read reviews about this after I had already started and was invested in the story, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered reading it. It was worse than the reviews I read led me to believe.
