This is an outstanding book. Highly recommended.

It is accessible for ages 10+, but certainly an enjoyable read for adults too.

The subject matter is certainly a real-life problem: One need only visit The Austin Zoo to see scope. (The Austin Zoo is a rescue zoo. Your patronage helps a great cause and it is a lot of fun too.)

The author's other books in the "Ape Quartet" (i.e., currently "Endangered" and "Threatened") are excellent too.
