An interesting plot written in great detail and likable characters.
Phee is a young heroine that is caught in the middle of a war and alongside her friends, they start to fight back. Not to mention she is in the middle of a choosing between Bear, a childhood friend and Cash who is currently kidnapped.
I liked certain action/suspenseful scenes in the book as they created good imagery in your head. What I didn’t like was how the book moved along slowly and I feel like the overall story could be shorter.
It is a well written sequel in my opinion, it provides good conflict and cliff-hangers overall. It also had very well explained and unique settings. I personally really like the main character Phee as she is full of justice and kindness too.
Recommended 7.5/10

Marked, by Jenny Martin is a sci-fi thrilller which takes place in exotic galaxies and a whole orchestra of different planets. It is the seuql and series closer to "Tracked" The protagonist, Phee is and the rebellion are locked in combat with King Charlie Benroyal.
Benroyal is a brute who is declaring war on the Rebellion in the name of Capitalism and a bunch of other reasons which I forgot since it was very hard to follow.

All throughout this, Phee is dealing with a love crisis to choose between one of two guys.

Later on, it is a very fast paced book with certain heart wrenching moments and quite a simple climax.
However in the beginning was so boring and had to follow that I missed much of the information. It was just about Phee suffereing from Ptsd from events in the previous book.
The wording in the beginning was very repetitive and unnecessarily extra, which also didn't bode well.
But once the pace picked up it and the world building was over it got much better.

Overall I'd give it a 6/10, and i would recommend reading it only if you read the first one or you are extremely patient.
