Made the Recipe for Rosemary Olive oil Sourdough Bread...... It was delicious. Lots of instruction on special techniques as to getting steam in the oven while baking, forming the dough and scoring it. Next on my list to try will be the sourdough english muffins.

From simple glazes and frostings to the intricacies of homemade puff pastry; from sweet to savoury and everything in between, this book offers a full spectrum of recipes for the home baker. Recipes are easy to read and follow. Its lack of colour photographs of finished products may be a turn-off for some; however, THE KING ARTHUR FLOUR BAKER''S COMPANION is a fine addition to the baker''s bookshelf. Winner of the James Beard Foundation''s Kitchenaid Cookbook of the Year award for 2004.
