The War on Science is not an easy read. It is one of those books that I have read, stopped to think a bit about it and then read some more. I returned it because others had requested it, but I will surely check it out again and re-read parts, especially the latter chapters when Otto points to what we should be doing.

In particular, I found that his analysis of the Rise of an Anti-Science Media to be very much on point. Also, the discussion of the role that "Post Modernism" memes in our education system has paved the way for an assault on the very idea of objectivity. To my mind, this has also paved the way to the willingness of so many to accept "Alternate Facts" with no cognitive dissonance at all.
