Sorting is an important concept when learning numeracy and math skills. "Sam Sorts" is a simple, interesting, and visually attractive introduction to sorting small objects - an exercise that can easily be replicated over and over at home, and maybe a way of making clean-up time more fun!

Great book for children to learn about sorting and matching items in a fun story. Similar to a" I Spy" book for younger readers, with a fun tale to tell.

A spectacular book worthy of a positive review and perfect for my kindergarten-aged children. My kids are engaged by the appealing artwork and enjoy talking about grouping the items. This book involves more talking than reading! It's not often a book like this comes along.

Busy, visually engaging art and a simple premise (Sam needs to clean up his stuff!) are put to great use subtly introducing a variety of mathematical concepts (counting, adding, Venn diagrams) as well as a solid child-friendly exploration of classification and categorization. I am very into this book!
