From his early childhood, Nathan was bursting with creativity and energy, while struggling with learning issues as well as anxiety and OCD problems. He was often labeled "bad," or as being in need of "fixing." Sally dared to believe that Nathan's differences could be part of an intentional design from a loving Creator with a plan for his life. She trusted that the things that made him different were the very things that could make him great. Now she shows you how to dare to love and nurture the "different" one in your life.

I have an "out of the box" kid and and lot of things we learned we did on our own also, because no one wanted to really "dig deeper" to find out how to get him to succeed in school or life. This book hits the nail on the head for those kids who "slip through the cracks". I only wish we had gotten help sooner because my son is not so well socialized.
