The recordings (now 50 years old) on this 2-disc set are some of the very first from pop idol, David Bowie (aka. David Robert Jones).

Just a 20-year-old lad at the time - It was so obvious, while listening to these tunes, to realize that Bowie was clearly struggling to create a distinctive sound that he could call his own.

Anyway - As far a Pop Music History goes - David Bowie would go on to become one of the world's best-selling music artists, ever.

Sad to say - On January 10, 2016 - David Bowie (69 at the time) died from cancer.
