Jen Dixon is not your typical Kansas City kindergarten class mom-or mom in general. Jen already has two college-age daughters by two different (probably) musicians, and it's her second time around the class mom block with five-year-old Max, this time with a husband and father by her side. Though her best friend and PTA President sees her as the "wisest" candidate for the job (or oldest), not all of the other parents agree. From recording parents' response times to her emails about helping in the classroom, to requesting contributions of "special" brownies for curriculum night, not all of Jen's methods win approval from the other moms. Throw in an old flame from Jen's past, a hyper-sensitive "allergy mom," a surprisingly sexy kindergarten teacher, and an impossible-to-please Real Housewife-wannabe, causing problems at every turn, and the job really becomes much more than she signed up for.--Provided by Publisher.

This book was a fast and hilarious read! I couldn't put it down it was so entertaining and full of laughs and situations that any mom can relate to. I would highly recommend this one.

As a single mother of 4, I found this book very entertaining. If you’re easily offended, skip it, if not, enjoy!

It was okay. I thought the author tried too hard to make the main character cool. It's a fun light read for the beach, but I also think there are better options out there if that's what you're looking for.

Hilarious! If you are a parent of an elementary school student or ever were, you will recognize the parents in this book. I would say skip it if you are easily offended but otherwise you will love this snarky, endearing, funny book!

As a mom who has volunteered a lot at school, I found many things amusing in this book. It's nothing serious but it's a fun, light read.

Too much swearing and sarcasm in just the first chapter. I didn't finish it.

The cut throat world of Kindergarten politics. And that's just the parents!
