If you tie flies, you will want to read this book. While many of us fly tiers enjoy complicated ties, when it comes down to loading up a fly box with flies that will catch fish, simple flies are where it's at. I liked this book so much I purchased it.

UPDATE: My trout fly boxes are now dominated by patterns from this book, and patterns I've developed based on this book. They catch fish even in highly pressured waters. If you're tired of trying to master complex patterns, or if you simply want to stop buying fancy flies and have thought that tying your own was too hard, I urge you to read this book.
