Evil Breeding

a Dog Lover's Mystery

Not up to her usual standard. Very interesting historical research on the connections between wealth dog owners in the US and pre-war Nazi spies in the years leading up to WW2 however. It seems the author found some stunning information about the dog world in the pre-war period and wrote a book about it. However, she forgot that her mystery books need a mystery. Even her main character is very unsympathetic and thin in this book. BUT I repeat, as a look at the attitudes of wealthy Americans leading up to the war as pro the aims of the Nazis for "improving" the human race, this book provides food for thought and prehaps research of your own.
