Fans of Jeffery Deaver ? and those who haven't yet had the pleasure of enjoying his books ? will definitely add this novel to their "recommended reading" list. An excellent thriller that takes readers into the world of computers and the subculture known only to hackers (or krackers). Not at all techno-heavy ? anyone who's ever booted up a Mac or PC and run a program or cruised the Internet will be familiar with the computer jargon used in the novel. Of course, the book comes complete with all the twists and turns and unexpected outcomes that Deaver readers love in his books. But hurry ? like the technology it's based on, the book itself may become outdated: characters loading software to thwart a virus still use 3.5" floppy discs? no CD discs, 2G flashes or USB ports.
