This movie follows a young boy in a small and boring town, who is simply seeking something more interesting and adventurous. He discovers a magical rock that turns his world upside town and allows him to do many new and exciting things. Sadly, things begin to go wrong after adults discover the existence of this rock and begin using it for evil. The movie has some lower-end performances and less than stellar graphics, but the fantasy themes are enough for children to get into. I would rate this movie 2.5/5 stars and recommend it to those who just want something to watch. @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library Shorts is a classic film that’s an oldie but a goodie. Every time we have friends and family come over, I have always found myself going back to this specific movie. It’s about a boy and his friends that find a rainbow rock that grants whatever you wish for, but you always have to pay the price in the end. The movie was filled with funny moments, and what made it even better was the child actors. The plot was unique, it was well produced, and the acting was excellent as well. Due to all of these factors, I would rate this movie a 4.5 out of 5. Shorts is one of those movies that you can watch 10 times and still be intrigued each time you watch it. You should definitely watch this movie with family or friends for a great laugh. @BetweenTheLines of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
