This title can be a bit misleading as it's not actually about a queen. It's the story of Margaret Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII (1485-1509). From the beginning, she wanted to live the life of a nun, but was given in marriage to Edmond Tudor in order to help the family rise in position in the court. Out of 3 marriages, she only conceived & delivers 1 child: Henry, future king of England. This book tells of what she believes is her life's divine purpose --- to put her son on the throne & restore the Lancastrians to power. Age recommendation: 14 & up On a scale of 1 - 10 stars, I give it 9.
