Just from the very front cover, one could tell that this book would have a darker tone on it. Incarceron is the ultimate prison that may or may not have its own secrets, unknown to the oblivious people who live "outside" in a perfect world. A boy named Finn struggles with his humanity and sense of misplacement in Incarceron. Claudia is the daughter of the Warden, the one who watches over this prison, and is engaged to someone she despises. Together, connected by a strange key, they uncover a lot more than they expect from a simple escape plan. Can they make it? I absolutely adored this book! - @Siri of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
