It's a shame the other reviewers thought this movie was "too complex" or too influenced by America (name me a country that isn't). I waited a while to see this as I thought it would be a draining melodrama from the father's p.o.v., which it is not. Instead, we have a subtle drama between 3 main teenaged boys that highlight the conflicts that can arise when the price of friendship is too high. This was such an intense drama, yet voices were rarely raised. I did sympathise for dead character, even though he was a little swine to his friends; that's what makes it so sad. If you stick with the story, you will see why he was such a tragic figure. All the young men were phenomenal actors. Photography, music score, directing and editing all excellent.
Don't watch this if you don't like subtitles or "slow" movies.
