I made it to the trunk dragging, pie watching scene, which is in the first 1/4 of the film and I said to myself " What the hell is up with this weird movie". I instantly rated it a 1 star and thought to be done with it. But oddly enough after the trunk dragging, pie eating ( I think its a quiche) scene it started to click along at a better pace. I'm not saying I wasn't on my phone the whole time, but it started to hold my interest in a background kinda noise way. After it was all said and done, I said to myself again " I certainly wouldn't recommend that movie to anyone." But here is the surprising part, I have been thinking about that movie almost non-stop since I watched it. Apparently something about it resonated with me and I keep going over moments in my head that I didn't even know I had enjoyed. I spent a few minutes describing the movie to my husband in a most animated way, which had me questioning myself again about my original knee-jerk rating.. So low and behold, I think I did enjoy it and I do think I would recommend it. A solid 3 stars for you, strange, provoking, artsy-fartsy ghost movie.
